Insanity: Padded Bras for 9-Year-Olds

The relentless drive to sexualize children continues, unabated.

You had read on Fellowship of the Minds about 3-4 year old girls dressed up as a whore and as Dolly Parton with false boobies at the child beauty pagent show "Toddlers & Tiaras" on TLC.

Now the Irish are selling padded bras to 9-year-olds.

Vivian Giang reports for Business Insider, Sep. 7, 2011, that retail stores in Ireland are offering padded bras to enhance the figure of 9-year-old girls.

The Dublin-based store Dunnesis selling padded bras for girls with a 28 to 30-inch chest while Penneys, another retailer, is featuring padded bras with the logo "Superstar" emblazoned on them, according to The Irish Independent.

Dunnes is a supermarket and clothing retail chain, that is based in Dublin, Ireland, with operations in Great Britain and Spain. The format of the chain's stores include a grocery supermarket operating alongside a clothing/textiles store. Many products are sold under the St. Bernard brand.

Business Insider's Giang says Dunnes is selling bras to children as young as three-year-olds. This is the store's website.

The sexualization of children has been a concern for advocacy groups following the controversial launch of French lingerie line Jours Apres Lunes targeted at young girls and the 10-year-old French model Thylane Loubry Blondeau's very provocative spread in Vogue Paris last month.

Thylane Loubry Blondeau is only 10 years old

"I have worked with young people in crisis and believe me the last thing that's needed is to encourage girls to dress up like adults younger and younger," said Suanne O'Connor, a childcare worker.

The British Retail Consortium recently announced a code of ethics for selling children's clothes, which Penney's reportedly did not subscribe to.

Chinese Successfully Test Penis Attack Eel

Ronin | 13 September, 2011 at 6:04 pm | Categories: Abuse of Power, Chinese Connection, Gay Agenda, human interest | URL: http://wp.me/p1NPg-7k4

I got over poisoned baby and dog food, I can deal with defective power tools and I understand slaves make horrible electronics, but this is too much. Training animals to attack a mans penis is beyond evil.

I realize this is part of a master plan to fight back against the global pro homosexual agenda but it is still evil.

I also heard the eel is an unwilling victim forced into service by the evil Chinese government. I wouldn't put it past um.

Mark Pangallo, Metro, 13th September, 2011 Zhang Nan was bathing with live eels to cleanse his skin when one rogue serpent took a liking to his manhood.
-I realize that most of you are reading this and wondering why I posted it but you have to remember, we search the global media to warn you about threats and penis attack eels are no laughing matter. The chinese are sick and twisted to even consider this as an option.

The eel treatment in question is a similar concept to the popular London spas that offer fish pedicures.
-I get the chinese testing a new weapon, they are evil but the Brits do it because they are stupid and wait until you read what the hindu kids play with.

Thinking that the eels would make him look ten years younger, Nan dived into the water and let them feast upon layers of dead skin.
-Um, look chin, I think someone has played a bad trick on you.

But after laying in the spa bath, Nan felt a sharp pain and realised a small eel was working its way up his urethra and into his bladder.

'I climbed into the bath and I could feel the eels nibbling my body. But then suddenly I felt a severe pain and realised a small eel had gone into the end of my penis,' the 56-year-old from Honghu, Hubei province said.
-He should have used Kung Fu to protect himself. Read more of this post

Taxpayer Alert: Barney Frank (D-Mass.) wants to Overhaul the Federal Reserve

Scotty Starnes | September 13, 2011 at 1:56 PM | Tags: Barney Frank, The Federal Reserve | Categories: Political Issues | URL: http://wp.me/pvnFC-5PK

Barney Frank (D-Mass.) has cost the taxpayer trillions of dollars with his ignorance on Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and his 'financial reform' bill that ended free checking and gave us debit card fees. This is the same guy who declared Freddie and Fannie safe while having a sexual relationship with a Fannie executive.

Barney should be kept far away from anything involving housing and banking regulations.

The Hill reports:

Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) is looking to overhaul the policymaking arm of the Federal Reserve, as he argues the current structure places a "significant constraint on national economic policymaking."

Translation: The Federal Reserve isn't printing money fast enough to cover Obama and the Democrats spending.

Specifically, the ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee is setting his sights on the five seats on the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) occupied by regional presidents of Federal Reserve Banks.

Frank argued in a lengthy statement Monday that since the regional presidents are the only ones who are not required to be nominated by the president and confirmed by the Senate, it allows for a "self-perpetuating group of private citizens" to place a significant thumb on the scale of monetary policy.

Translation: Barney wants politicians, who got us into this financial crisis, to have more control over the economy.

These members are "skewing policy" at the Fed so that it is more interested in fighting potential inflation than in pursuing the second of its two mandates, maximizing employment, according to Frank.

When has the The Federal Reserve ever been responsible for employment? Looks like Barney wants another scapegoat for Obama's dismal economic record and high unemployment.

And as the Fed grapples with taking more unconventional steps to boost the economy, those unconfirmed votes, coupled with Senate Republican opposition to some of the president's FOMC nominees, are handcuffing those efforts, Frank said.

The Fed has monetized debt to cover Obama's ass. If not for this quantitative easing (QE1 & QE2), the economy would be worse. Fed Chair Ben Bernanke testified before Congress and promised he would not monetize the debt. Where are the perjury charges?

Frank said he is working on legislation that would remove their votes at the Fed. He would replace the regional presidents with an FOMC that consists entirely of members picked by the president and confirmed by the Senate.

Imagine if Obama had his radicals running the Fed. The dollar would be worthless due to all the money being printed to cover Obama's spending spree. $4 trillion plus in under two-and-a-half years is the current debt added by Team Obama and the Democrats.

Color Blind Justice? Obama continues to use Gender and Race when making Judicial Appointments

Scotty Starnes | September 13, 2011 at 4:39 PM | Tags: diversity, gender, liberals, President Obama, race | Categories: Political Issues | URL: http://wp.me/pvnFC-5PZ

It's all being done in the name of "diversity." Instead of selecting the best INDIVIDUAL for the position, Obama uses race and gender to make his judicial appointments. Justice is blind but Obama wants skin color and gender to rule.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is moving at a historic pace to try to diversify the nation's federal judiciary: Nearly three of every four people he has gotten confirmed to the federal bench are women or minorities. He is the first president who hasn't selected a majority of white males for lifetime judgeships.

Is this really shocking? Liberals often use race and gender to make decisions. It's in their history.

More than 70 percent of Obama's confirmed judicial nominees during his first two years were "non-traditional," or nominees who were not white males. That far exceeds the percentages in the two-term administrations of Bill Clinton (48.1 percent) and George W. Bush (32.9 percent), according to Sheldon Goldman, author of the authoritative book "Picking Federal Judges."

Is bragging about a President using race and gender, over qualifications and judicial knowledge, really an accomplishment?

"It is an absolutely remarkable diversity achievement," said Goldman, a political science professor at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, who is only counting judges once, even if they fit more than one category.

The White House recently has been touting its efforts to diversify the federal bench during Obama's tenure, now approaching three years in office.

Just what America doesn't need: more radical progressives who have a disdain for the Constitution.

...Of the 98 Obama nominees confirmed to date, the administration says 21 percent are African-American, 11 percent are Hispanic, 7 percent are Asian-American and almost half — 47 percent — are women. By comparison, of the 322 judges confirmed during George W. Bush's presidency, 18 percent were minorities and 22 percent were female. Of the 372 judges confirmed during Clinton's terms, 25 percent were minorities and 29 percent were women. In these figures, some judges fit into more than one category.

I can't believe Seattle residents keep re-electing "Baghdad Jim McDermott".  Well, actually I can but they are stoopid.  About as stoopid as the things Jim said about the jobs stimulus program in this interview with Neil Cavuto.

Totalitarian Program 'Agenda 21′ Now in Effect!

Written on September 13, 2011 by ralphbarker

Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced a major shift in the priorities of both governments and individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences of every human action be integrated into individual and collective decision-making at every level.
- George H. Bush

Agenda 21 isn't coming. It is here. Most don't know about it. They've never heard of it, but it is creeping in the back door right now. So, look behind you. It may already be in your backyard.

What is Agenda 21? It is a United Nation's program presented and approved in Rio in 1992. At that time American conservatives laughed it off. "This is too crazy," they said. "Impossible. It will never happen. Not here!" Well, it is happening. It is happening here and it is happening now. Agenda 21 is a totalitarian comprehensive environmental program that, when fully implemented, will direct where you live, how much water you can use, and how and where you can travel.

Agenda 21 is being marketed as a worldwide effort to ensure that all human beings will have access to adequate housing, health care, water and food. Of course this will require a massive redistribution of wealth from prosperous countries to poorer countries. Predictably, capitalistic countries, like the United States, will suffer lower standards of living.

It's noteworthy that Presidents George H. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama, through Executive Orders, have signed onto Agenda 21. Hundreds more governors, mayors, and county commissioners have also signed on.

Agenda 21 and related programs will eliminate many things we hold dear. These have been declared "unsustainable" and will be abolished. Here are some of them:

  1. All private property rights (property ownership)
  2. All forms of irrigation, pesticides & commercial fertilizer
  3. Livestock production and most meat consumption
  4. Privately owned vehicles and personal travel
  5. Use of fossil fuels for power generation or mechanized travel
  6. Single family homes
  7. Most forms of mineral extraction and timber harvesting
  8. Human population must be reduced to fewer than 1 billion people

It's not coming from Washington D.C. or state legislatures for the most part. It is seeping in through local city and county governments. Agenda 21 brings with it stealthy code words, comforting words such as "smart growth," "social justice," "bio-diversity," and "sustained development." You will hear them often. Translated these terms effectively mean total environmental dictatorship and the elevation of the pagan practice of the worship of Mother Earth. Not a joke.

179 countries, including the United States, initially signed on to the Agenda in 1992. Many more have joined since then. It is already in progress in 600 U.S. cities. You can check the list of committed countries and cities at: http://www.iclei.org/index.php?id=11454. You can also read the specific programs being implemented.

Agenda 21 is designed to control every aspect of human life on every square inch of planet earth. As a biblical worldview dims in the world man falls to the bottom of the food chain.

If Agenda 21 succeeds animals will become more important than man as will plants and trees. We can already see ample evidence of this process in motion today. Agenda 21's real message is: "Man is the problem. Nature must be preserved and take precedence. Mother Earth must not be scratched."

Agenda 21 is just another attempt by man to recreate heaven on earth. David Chilton, in his insightful book Paradise Restored, presents an important historical dynamic. Chilton submits that man, ever since he was expelled from Eden, has tried to get back in. Each time he tries, he creates another hell on earth. Agenda 21 will be no different.

Many socialistic, communistic, and liberal organizations and international leaders are behind Agenda 21 and its related programs. It will take dedication of time and effort on our part to truly understand all the implications of this pervasive program. The investment of time will be worth it.

I encourage you, no, beg you, to learn of this Agenda. Take the time. Think of the world your children will inherit if we don't stop it and similar assaults on our freedoms.  Do not make the mistake of writing this off as some conspiracy theory. It may or may not be a conspiracy, but it is not a theory. It's here. Look behind you.

George Wallace vs. Rick Perry
Posted by Laurence Vance on September 13, 2011 03:03 PM

George Wallace once said: "There's not a dime's worth of difference between the Republicans and Democrats." Rick Perry disagrees. Here is Perry in his book Fed Up!
I am a proud Republican. As frustrated as I am at many in my own party for their waste and incompetence, and as many good friends as I have in the Democratic Party, I am firmly convinced that there is no comparison between the two political parties in modern, twenty-first-century America. As I have said before, "Republicans often aren't on the right pageindeed, some aren't even in the right chapter. But most are in the right book. Most Democrats today, on the other hand, can't even find the library."

And what I mean by that is simple. Republicans, in general, believe in low taxes, low regulation, less spending, free-market health care, constitutionalist judges, protecting innocent life, enforcing our laws and borders, peace through strength, empowering the states, and generally advocating principles closer to limited government than not. On the other hand, most of my Democrat friendsunfortunatelygenerally believe in higher taxes, more regulations, more spending, government-run health care, activist judges, choice over life, open borders, capitulation to our enemies, a more powerful Washington, and generally a bigger and more active government than not.
The eight years of George W. Bush (over four of which had a Republican majority in the House and Senate) prove that this is a lie. What he should have said is that Republicans say they believe in low taxes, low regulation, etc. I will just mention three things: 1. Bush and the Republicans doubled the national debt. 2. Bush and the Republicans expanded Medicare beyond LBJ's wildest dreams. 3. Bush and the Republicans destroyed many thousands of innocent lives in unjust wars.

In 1999, Ron Paul Denounced Clinton's War on Iraq
... and predicted blowback.

Limbaugh: Ron Paul Should Join Democrats
Posted by Thomas Woods on September 13, 2011 02:09 PM

Ron Paul should join the Democrats, said Rush Limbaugh today, presumably because of Dr. Paul's view that republics can't survive when they morph into global empires, a point that doesn't exactly derive from the Left. (As for "blaming America" for terrorism, the signature third-grade argument we hear every time Ron Paul speaks some truth, I repeat that Russell Kirk, author of The Conservative Mind, made the same argument advanced by Ron Paul. I guess he needs to join Clinton and Kerry, too.) Nevermind that essentially no Democrat calls for bringing US troops home from where they are stationed around the world, and that Hillary, John Kerry, the New York Times, and the Washington Post have enthusiastically supported Limbaugh's wars. Oops.

Meanwhile, Ron Paul is better on spending, welfare, the Constitution, executive orders, federalism, bailouts, monetary policy (he's the only one who doesn't support monetary central planning), and pretty much every other issue fakes like Limbaugh pretend to care about. But because he doesn't believe war propaganda that's unworthy of a second-grader, he should become a Democrat (even though the Democrats believe the same propaganda Limbaugh does).

I dealt with this argument not long ago when The American Spectator tried to make it.

Do Conservatives Hate Their Own Founder?
by Thomas E. Woods, Jr.
May 18, 2007

Toward the end of his life, Russell Kirk, one of the great founders of American conservatism, became contemptuous of Republican militarism. Didn't know that? Neither do most readers of National Review, for which Kirk wrote for so many years.

Kirk's opposition to relentless war makes him a "liberal" in NR's lexicon. Now it'd be kind of hard to describe the key founder of modern American conservatism as a liberal harder even than NR's task of making the obviously corrupt (and personally sleazy) former federal prosecutor Rudy Giuliani seem like something we should want in a U.S. president. So the whole Kirk problem is simply passed over in silence.

Young conservatives, take note: what you are about to encounter is the voice of the real thing, whose opinions are worth more than those of a million talk-show ignoramuses put together. That these views would never, ever get published in the typical "conservative" magazine today tells you all you need to know about the state of the "conservative movement": so remote is it from the genuine article that Kirk himself would be unwelcome.

The remarks from which I draw here are taken from a 1991 speech to the Heritage Foundation. What a difference a decade and a half can make: these opinions would never be permitted at Heritage today. Of that you can be sure.

Oh, once in a while you'll still get tributes to the great Kirk, but his foreign-policy views will be ignored or greeted with awkward smiles and a cough, if anyone is so discourteous as to break the silence on the subject.

Now remember, this is 1991, so Kirk is speaking of George H.W. Bush, not the current president, for whom these remarks could be amplified many times over.

"Presidents Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, and Lyndon Johnson were enthusiasts for American domination of the world," Kirk said in his speech. "Now George Bush appears to be emulating those eminent Democrats. When the Republicans, once upon a time, nominated for the presidency a 'One World' candidate, Wendell Willkie, they were sadly trounced. In general, Republicans throughout the twentieth century have been advocates of prudence and restraint in the conduct of foreign affairs."

President Bush, Kirk said, had embarked upon "a radical course of intervention in the region of the Persian Gulf. After carpet-bombing the Cradle of Civilization as no country ever had been bombed before, Mr. Bush sent in hundreds of thousands of soldiers to overrun the Iraqi bunkers that were garrisoned by dead men, asphyxiated."

And why, exactly? "The Bush Administration found it difficult to answer that question clearly. In the beginning it was implied that the American national interest required low petroleum prices: therefore, if need be, smite and spare not!"

Kirk then recalled Edmund Burke's rebuke to the Pitt ministry in 1795, when the British government seemed to be on the verge of going to war with France over the issue of navigation on the River Scheldt in the Netherlands. "A war for the Scheldt? A war for a chamber-pot!" Burke said. Today, said Kirk, one may as well say, "A war for Kuwait? A war for an oilcan!"

Since a war for an oilcan turned out to be not so popular, President Bush "turned moralist; he professed to be engaged in redeeming the blood of man; and his breaking of Iraq is to be the commencement of his beneficent New World Order." Kirk said Bush had embarked on what Herbert Butterfield called "the war for righteousness." "It has been held by technicians of politics in recent times," Butterfield wrote in Christianity, Diplomacy, and War, "that democracies can only be keyed up to modern war only brought to the necessary degree of fervor provided they are whipped into moral indignation and heated to fanaticism by the thought that they are engaged in a 'war for righteousness.'"

"Now indubitably Saddam Hussein is unrighteous," said Kirk,

but so are nearly all the masters of the "emergent" African states (with the Ivory Coast as a rare exception), and so are the grim ideologues who rule China, and the hard men in the Kremlin, and a great many other public figures in various quarters of the world. Why, I fancy that there are some few unrighteous men, conceivably, in the domestic politics of the United States. Are we to saturation-bomb most of Africa and Asia into righteousness, freedom, and democracy? And, having accomplished that, however would we ensure persons yet more unrighteous might not rise up instead of the ogres we had swept away? Just that is what happened in the Congo, remember, three decades ago; and nowadays in Zaire, once called the Belgian Congo, we zealously uphold with American funds the dictator Mobutu, more blood-stained than Saddam. And have we forgotten Castro in Cuba?

And now Russell Kirk conservative among conservatives makes the obvious point that the loudmouths today ridicule and condemn: perpetrating large-scale violence can make people angry. Only Americans get angry when violence is committed against them no one else!

Now here is Kirk: "We must expect to suffer during a very long period of widespread hostility toward the United States even, or perhaps especially, from the people of certain states that America bribed or bullied into combining against Iraq. In Egypt, in Syria, in Pakistan, in Algeria, in Morocco, in all of the world of Islam, the masses now regard the United States as their arrogant adversary; while the Soviet Union, by virtue of its endeavors to mediate the quarrel in its later stages, may pose again as the friend of Moslem lands. Nor is this all: for now, in every continent, the United States is resented increasingly as the last and most formidable of imperial systems."

Well, away with Russell Kirk, then: he "blames America" for terrorism! To be sure, anyone who is both 1) truthful, and 2) has an IQ above 50, knows he's done no such thing, but since our politicians and journalists do not distinguish themselves in either of these qualities, we can imagine their pretense of shock at the outrageous Kirk.

Oh, and what kind of leftist said the following? "Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace comes to pass in an era of Righteousness -- that is, national or ideological self-righteousness in which the public is persuaded that 'God is on our side,' and that those who disagree should be brought here before the bar as war criminals."

The founder of American conservatism, that's who.

These are the words of a civilized man. I have my differences with Kirk on important questions, to be sure, but this is a learned, serious thinker whose work and thought anyone can and should respect which is more than can be said for the sloganeering Ministry of Propaganda that now dominates official conservative media.

So who plans to be first in line to denounce even the deceased Russell Kirk as an "unpatriotic conservative"?

Al Qaeda: Never an "Existential Threat"
Posted by Gene Healy

My Washington Examiner column [1] this week celebrates 10 years without a major follow-up attack on American soil, and argues that the main reason the United States has been terror-free for a decade isn't the unparalleled competence of the federal government's terror warriorsit's the fact that al Qaeda was never an "existential threat."

I've written a number [2] of columns [3] and blogposts making the same point [4] over the years [5], and yet, every time I write something that says "al Qaeda's not so terrifying," I feel compelled to knock wood, genuflecting to the superstition that merely saying "we're pretty safe" out loud will jinx us, and the moment a piece is published, the terrorists will morph into villains worthy of TV's 24, moving from ineffectual gas-can bombs [6] to nukes.

So far, though, it seems there wasn't much reason to worry.

Last week, the Washington Post ran a piece entitled, "Who got 9/11 right, and who got it wrong? A pundit score card." [7] The Post erred badly by not including the distinguished political scientist and friend of Cato, John Mueller [8], who started making the case that the al Qaeda threat was overblown [9] back when duct tape alerts [10] were the "new normal." I can't think of any other prominent figure who got it right as early and as often as Mueller did.

As long as we're giving credit for prescience, though, I'd like to toot my own horn (sure, it's graceless, but nobody else is volunteering for the job).

As a larval pundit pecking away in obscurity through the early aughties, I suspected, before I'd ever read Mueller, that the al Qaeda threat was overblown -- and I made that case wherever I could.

In September 2002, I reviewed Peter Bergen's Holy War, Inc. [11] for Liberty magazine:  "Osama bin Laden: Not as Scary as You Think" (.pdf ) [12]. In it, I asked whether al Qaeda was "as dangerous as federal powergrabbers have led us to believe."

After recounting what Bergen reported about Mohamed Odeh, an al Qaeda operative involved in the 1998 bombing of the U.S. embassy in Tanzaniawho botched his own escape by trying to convince Pakistani immigration officials that terrorism was "the right thing to do for Islam,"I ventured that "a lot of these folks don't sound all that bright." (Since then, I've become even more convinced that these guys were never the sharpest scimitars in the shed [13].)

In December 2002, when my now-defunct blog was young and DC was waiting for the other shoe to drop [14] after 9/11, I wondered "What if There Isn't Another Shoe?": "If the American Jihad/mullahs under the bed/the-country-is-riddled-with-sleeper-cells theory is correct, then why so quiet?" I suggested: "maybe there aren't that many of them," which turned out to be true. (Here's a reference [15], and you can find the original if you go here [16] and scroll down.)

Ten years later, it's heartening to know that what was once a fringe positionand a marker of being "unserious" about terrorism -- is fast becoming [17] the conventional [18] wisdom [19].

Union violence of little interest to media
K.E. Campbell
Over 500 people "storm <http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2016144477_longshoremen09m.html>" private property, break windows and vandalize other property, wield baseball bats and crowbars, make death threats, and allegedly hold six guards hostage. Fifty law enforcement officers respond. U.S. Marshalls are placed on standby to enforce a related injunction issued by a federal judge.
It happened yesterday at a grain terminal at Port of Longview in southwest Washington State. The perpetrators? Members of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU). The local police chief was quoted <http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2016144477_longshoremen09m.html> as saying, "A lot of the protesters were telling us this is only the start."
Not surprisingly, the incident didn't garner much national attention. Imagine how the coverage by the so-called mainstream media would have differed had anything even remotely similar occurred at a gathering of people of a different political persuasion, say those Tea Party SOBs.
Union violence is not rare. The National Institute for Labor Relations (NILR) has collected <http://www.nilrr.org/node/54> over 9,000 reports of union violence since 1975 and the actual number is much higher--by as much as a factor of ten. Only a fraction of such offenses result in arrest and conviction.
On Monday, Teamsters Union president James Hoffa proudly declared, "The one thing about working people is we like a good fight." (Fight, not good, being the operative word.). Echoing Hoffa, ILWU President Bob McEllrath said <http://www.ilwu.org/?p=2927> "It shouldn't be a crime to fight for good jobs in America."
The fight crowd has certain federal legal precedent on its side of the ring. According to NILR, the U.S. Supreme Court's 1973 Enmons decision <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_v._Enmons>, among other factors, makes prosecution of union violence difficult. According to the Cato Institute <https://www.cato.org/pub_display.php?pub_id=1175>, violence "deemed to be in furtherance of "legitimate" union objectives" is exempt from prosecution under federal anti-extortion laws. Offenders can be charged and prosecuted under state and other federal laws, but the scales of "justice" in such instances, just like our federal government's overall pro-union rather than union-neutral stance, are tipped in favor of organized labor. Until that changes, we'll get more of the rot such laws and regulations have wrought.
