win easier than even I predicted.

1. there is absolutely no way on this earth that Republitards would

Like all hate filled communists, socialists and just in general,  Anti-Americans,  Studio demonstrates his hatred for Sarah Palin,  or anyone else who speaks truthfully and has a conservative, American message.  The last time I looked, Sarah Palin wasn't even running for anything, but instead, was fishing up in Alaska.  No matter,  Studio couldn't resist in throwing another hate bomb her way.  while at the same time,  dissing Mr.  Cain.

DHS Announces Increased Vigilance Of Social Networks

Social media was used to coordinate uprisings in the Mideast and the riots in England.

If you post to social media networks like Twitter and Facebook, the Department of Homeland Security is probably watching you.

As part of the "See Something, Say Something" campaign and a new National Terrorism Advisory System, DHS is looking at ways to better monitor social networks and "training hundreds of thousands of law enforcement officers across the country in filling out suspicious activity reports" on social network postings, DHS Undersecretary Caryn Wagner told The Associated Press.

The use of social media to coordinate uprisings in the Mideast and the riots in England "shocked some officials into attention and prompted questions of whether the U.S. needs to do a better job of monitoring domestic social networking activity," Wagner said.

While Wagner said DHS is not "actively monitoring any social networks," there is little comfort in that. There are passive ways of monitoring to catch words or phrases that can put you on DHS radar. And U.S. law enforcement and the military have long been training to prepare for large-scale domestic uprisings.

How will they respond? Just take a look at the crackdown on the Occupy movement in New York and Oakland, Calif., for a good idea.

An economic collapse is inevitable. The United Nations International Labour Organization issued a report Monday warning that the world faces a dramatic downturn in employment and a new recession which will lead to greater unrest. The Greek/euro crisis could very well be the first domino to fall, setting off a cascade that roils the world markets in a way far worse than the 2008 crash.

When you picture your typical terrorist, you probably envision an angry young man. Not the Billy Joel song, which is great. But, you know, a guy in his teens or twenties. Maybe his thirties. Forties? Fifties? Not likely. By that time, most people prone to committing acts of mass murder have mellowed out, settled down. They've gotten a little fat in the stomach. They easily tire. They can barely will themselves to lean forward to grab the remote, much less train for a deadly assault on society. If they're angry about something, it's that The Mentalist is a repeat. You get the point.

And yet! The FBI has arrested four men belonging to a "fringe militia group" in Georgia for plotting terrorist attacks on "Justice Department officials, federal judges and Internal Revenue Service agents." And they're no spring chickens.

The accused men, all from Georgia, were named as Frederick Thomas, 73, of Cleveland; Dan Roberts, 67, of Toccoa; Ray Adams, 65, of Toccoa; and Samuel Crump, 68, also of Toccoa.

Ha! That one guy is 73! Are you serious? What were they going to use, their canes? Were they, like, going to get a megaphone and bore everyone to death with stories about the old days?

According to arrest affidavits filed in the case, 67-year-old Dan Roberts and Thomas, 73, agreed to buy a silencer, a bomb and parts to convert a semi-automatic rifle to a fully automatic machine gun from an undercover agent.

Meanwhile, 65-year-old Ray Adams and 68-year-old Samuel Crump worked to obtain castor beans and produce ricin, an FBI agent states in the documents....

[A]ccording to the documents, they talked about spreading ricin across several cities at once, including Washington, Atlanta, New Orleans and Jacksonville, Florida.

During an April meeting at his home, Thomas allegedly told participants he had a "bucket list" of politicians, government officials, corporate leaders and media figures he said should be targeted to "make the country right again."

"I could shoot ATF and IRS all day long. All the judges and the DOJ and the attorneys and prosecutors," the affidavit quotes Thomas as saying.

Oh.

270 Million Victims of Jihad? Maybe More

One of the LGF lemmings has written a post claiming that my reference to 270 million victims of jihad is inaccurate. And it's true: there may have been even more.

The actual number of victims of jihad is impossible to evaluate. Islam's jihad has raged over 13 centuries and three continents, and the killers did not keep records. The 270 million estimate was based on data that, as has been shown, included some victims of other evils.

However, given the sketchiness of the data, it is not at all established that there were actually fewer than 270 million victims of jihad. The actual number of victims of jihad may be even higher.

What is not in doubt is that jihad kills. It has brought untold misery to the world. This doctrine has led to unfathomable suffering for millions of people over many centuries, and continues to make people suffer today. Islam's jihad against the rest of us will keep killing people until Muslims expunge the Koran of its violent teachings.

The pioneering historian Bat Ye'or wrote this to me:

It is impossible to number the victims of jihad, because jihad was waged during such a long period of time and on several continents. Muslim and non-Muslim chronicles report that people were abducted and killed in some small villages; in other places, entire agglomerations and cities were whipped out. No one could, throughout the centuries of wars and conquests, continuously record those facts. Most people were illiterate; telephones and newspapers didn't exist, communications were difficult. People had to walk, fleeing from one place to another; they were often dying on roads, and children and women were abducted. We know about the trials and massacres of the Jews of Arabia through Muslim texts; the victims didn't leave a trace of what had happened.

In fact, the victims of jihad were much more numerous than most people realize, as whole nations were made hostage, physically and mentally, to the jihad institution that imposed on the non-Muslim world three choices: conversion to Islam; death; or submission/dhimmitude. This abduction, which started in the 7th century and continues till this very day, makes the whole free world the victim of jihad.

I am not sure how to answer that in general terms, but I think at least one journalist answered the question for his own, now-thoroughly destroyed veracity. Jonathan Alter of Bloomberg has written one of the most ridiculous, least reality-based assessments yet of Bar ack Obama's short White House tenure. Alter Alter put on his strongest rose-colored glasses and penned an uproarious piece headlined: "The Obama Miracle, a White House Free of Scandal." In his Bloomberg piece Alter claimed that Obama is "honest" and falsely asserted that his White House has been "free of scandal." In fact, some of the incidents that Alter himself notes, and immediately dismisses, carry at least a whiff of scandal — if not untruthfulness. Naturally, Alter ignores far more than he reports on Obama scandals but he also misses the biggest reason why Obama seems to him to have a scandal free presidency. The Media refuses to call anything Obama does a scandal! After all, if you have a guy that wantonly lies, that double deals, that hides facts, that also allows subordinates to lie and that fellow is allowed to just get away with it without repercussion from journalists, I guess that makes for a "scandal free" guy, eh? Alter's first attempt to give succor to Obama's failing presidency comes with a baseless swipe at "the whole" Republican Party. The sight of Texas Governor Rick Perry tumbling out of the clown car recently as a "birther" (or at least a birther- enabler) is a sign of weakness, not just for the Perry campaign but for the whole Republican effort to tarnish the president's character. This is a false premise. It assumes that "the whole" Republican Party is using birtherism to "tarnish the president's character." This is a flat out untruth. Only a small portion of the center right polity in America has any interest in Obama's birth certificate. Alter's attempt to make the whole of the GOP into birthers is simply baseless. Next, Alter dismisses the Solyndra scandal as meaningless. I guess if you don't think its a touch scandalous when you have millions upon millions of tax dollars going into the pockets of buddies who turn around and go bankrupt almost immediately, well, what can you say to that? Alter also dismisses both Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner's tax evasion and Obama's firing of Ag. Dept. official Shirley Sherrod without knowing what she really did. Then Alter makes the silly claim that Obama's stimulus spending was free of any waste or abuse — the latter claim is laughable on its face. Last year's winner was the fellow who was killed by a Coke machine which toppled over on top of him as he was attempting to tip a free soda out. This year's winner was a real rocket scientist... HONESTLY! Read on...And remember that each and every one of these is a TRUE STORY!!! And the nominees were: Semifinalist #1  A young Canadian man, searching for a way of getting drunk cheaply, because he had no money with which to buy alcohol, mixed gasoline with milk. Not surprisingly, this concoction made him ill, and he vomited into the fireplace in his house. This resulting explosion and fire burned his house down, killing both him and his sister. Semifinalist #2 Three Brazilian men were flying in a light aircraft at low altitude when another plane approached. It appears that they decided to moon the occupants of the other plane, but lost control of their own aircraft and crashed. They were all found dead in the wreckage with their pants around their ankles. Semifinalist #3  A 22-year-old Reston, VA, man was found dead after he tried to use octopus straps to bungee jump off a 70-foot rail road trestle. Fairfax County police said Eric Barcia, a fast-food worker, taped a bunch of these straps together, wrapped an end around one foot, anchored the other end to the trestle at Lake Accotink Park, jumped and hit the pavement. Warren Carmichael, a police spokesman, said investigators think Barcia was alone because his car was found nearby. 'The length of the cord that he had assembled was greater than the distance between the trestle and the ground,' Carmichael said. Police say the apparent cause of death was 'Major trauma.' Semifinalist #4 A man in Alabama died from rattlesnake bites. It seems that he and a friend were playing a game of catch, using the rattlesnake as a ball. The friend - no doubt a future Darwin Awards candidate - was hospitalized. Semifinalist #5 Employees in a medium-sized warehouse in west Texas noticed the smell of a gas leak. sensibly, management evacuated the building, extinguishing all potential sources of ignition; lights, power, etc... After the building had been evacuated, two technicians from the gas company were dispatched. Upon entering the building, they found they had difficulty navigating in the dark. To their frustration, none of the lights worked. Witnesses later described the sight of one of the technicians reaching into his pocket and retrieving an object that resembled a cigarette lighter. Upon operation of the lighter-like object, the gas in the warehouse exploded, sending pieces of it up to three miles away. Nothing was found of the technicians, but the lighter was virtually untouched by the explosion. The technician suspected of causing the blast had never been thought of as ''bright'' by his peers. And Now, for the winner of this year's Darwin Award:  (As always, awarded posthumously): The Arizona Highway Patrol came upon a pile of smoldering metal embedded in the side of a cliff rising above the road at the apex of a curve. The wreckage resembled the site of an airplane crash, but it was a car. The type of car was unidentifiable at the scene. Police investigators finally pieced together the mystery. An amateur rocket scientist had somehow gotten hold of a JATO unit (Jet Assisted Take Off, actually a solid-fuel rocket) that is used to give heavy military transport planes an extra 'push' for taking off from short airfields. He had driven his Chevy Impala out into the desert and found a long, straight stretch of road. He attached the JATO unit to the car, jumped in, got up some speed and fired off the JATO! The facts as best could be determined are that the operator of the 1967 Impala hit the JATO ignition at a distance of approximately 3.0 miles from the crash site. This was established by the scorched and melted asphalt at that location. The JATO, if operating properly, would have reached maximum thrust within 5 seconds, causing the Chevy to reach speeds well in excess of 350 mph and continuing at full power for an additional 20 -25 seconds. The driver, and soon-to-be pilot, would have experienced G-forces usually reserved for dog fighting F-14 jocks under full afterburners, causing him to become irrelevant for the remainder of the event. However, the automobile remained on the straight highway for about 2.5 miles (15-20 seconds) before the driver applied and completely melted the brakes, blowing the tires and leaving thick rubber marks on the road surface, then becoming airborne for an additional 1.4 miles and impacting the cliff face at a height of 125 feet, leaving a blackened crater 3 feet deep in the rock. Most of the driver's remains were not recoverable. Epilogue: It has been calculated that this moron attained a ground speed of approximately 420-mph, though much of his voyage was not actually on the ground. (Hey, you have no idea how the AZ heat & sun can fry one's brain!)  You just couldn't make this stuff up, could you? __._,_.___
