The town of Milan, Michigan is a small farming community of only about 6,000 people, but big changes are coming their way. The following is from a recent Dayton Daily News article about this new project....
Unfortunately, the goal does not appear to be to integrate this new "city" into the existing community in and around Milan. Rather, it appears that all of the new housing will be sold to people coming over from China. According to the Milan News Leader newspaper, the new housing units "would be marketed to Chinese business people who want to start companies in the United States". In essence, we would be looking at a new Chinese city right in the middle of Michigan. Doug Smith, senior vice president for business and community development for the Michigan Economic Development Corp., recently said the following about what the Chinese group plans to do....
Milan is not far from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, which is a very popular destination for Chinese students. Apparently that is one reason why Milan was chosen. This new project would be a Chinese community built by Chinese and specifically designed for Chinese. But isn't this supposed to be America? Fortunately, the project does not have final approval yet. It still must be approved by the two townships outside of Milan where the land is located. For some reason, the Chinese seem to be particularly interested in this area of the country. For example, a different Chinese investment group has been busy buying up chunks of real estate over in nearby Toledo, Ohio. The following is from an article in the Toledo Blade on May 26th, 2011....
So should we be alarmed that the Chinese are buying up pieces of America? Well, if they simply wanted to enjoy living in America and wanted to integrate into the wider community that would be one thing. But it is another thing altogether to start dropping slices of communist China inside of U.S. territory. In a previous article entitled "China Wants To Construct A 50 Square Mile Self-Sustaining City South Of Boise, Idaho", I discussed a potential deal that Sinomach (a company controlled by the Chinese government) was exploring with the government of Idaho. The following is a description of that potential project from an article in the Idaho Statesman....
There was talk that this "technology zone" would be modeled after the "special economic zones" that have been developed in China. The city of Shenzhen is perhaps the most famous example of this. Fortunately that deal appears to have stalled, but other mammoth deals have been moving forward in other parts of the country. For example, the Chinese have been very busy gobbling up oil and gas fields. The following is a quote from a local Texas news source about a deal that a company owned by the Chinese government did with Chesapeake Energy down in Texas....
You can read more about that particular deal right here. So is it really a good idea to be allowing the Chinese to buy up our precious energy resources? The answer to that question is obvious. Sadly, the examples noted above are not isolated incidents. The truth is that the Chinese have been snapping up real estate and business assets all over America as a recent Forbes article explained....
So get ready - the Chinese are buying up U.S. land and they are moving in whether you like it or not. So what will the long-term consequences be of allowing a communist superpower to buy up large sections of America? That is a very good question.

Recently, the MSM were shocked by the news that a girlfriend in Obama's Dreams book was a composite. For many, such news comes as no surprise. The concept of a composite presidency certainly comes as no shock as someone who participated as a contributor and authored evidence presented at Sheriff Joe Arpaio's press conference on Obama's long-form birth certificate report. On the heels of these events -- and taking advantage of an anniversary of the bin Laden raid -- are recent campaign tactics to politicize the killing of Osama bin Laden. With the re-emergence of another round of gutsy call faux heroism regarding Obama's decision, it may also be a good time to revisit the famous "Situation Room" photo released by the White House. Is it Photoshopped? Like everything else Obama does to make a political point, is the photo a composite as well?
Beyond the obvious blurred photo in front of Hillary Clinton, are there other hints of manipulation? A Swedish paper makes the observation that Obama looks like a midget in the chair despite his six-foot-plus stature. When comparing the size of the surrounding people in the photo to Obama, the photo certainly gives the impression that Obama's head (or possibly the entire body) was placed into the photo and resized a tad too small. And as a side-note observation: why is everyone in the room dressed in work attire -- as if they went to work that day -- except for Obama?
Compare the size of surrounding heads in the "Situation Room" photo to the size of Obama's head. Even if you use a perspective argument -- in which objects appear smaller at a greater distance -- then why are the faces behind Obama still larger? Marshall Webb's head is larger as well, and keep in mind that Marshall is sitting next to Obama (on the same plane).
Referring back to the "Situation Room" photo again, look at the difference in head size between 
Obama and Biden (in the "Situation Room" photo), and then contrast with differences in size from other photos found of Obama and Biden. The height and head shapes are comparatively similar in size for the vast number of photos seen of the president and VP.
Another observation focuses (no pun intended) on the eyes of everyone in the room. A large and overexposed sharpened image of the "Situation Room" can be viewed here that offers a clear glimpse into the various pairs of eyes. Follow the direction of the center of focus for all the surrounding faces in the room. When zoomed in closely, the eyes are clear and detailed for many of these faces. However, not only do Obama's eyes lack detail in this overexposed photo, but the direction of his glance appears to be 
pinpointing a higher plane than that of 
everyone else in the room. It was reported here that the famous picture was taken not in the situation room, but rather from a smaller conference room next to the situation room. A search for images of this conference room suggests that monitors are mounted on the wall just slightly above eye level when sitting -- which is consistent with the gaze level of the surrounding members in the photo.
Try this test: instead of zooming in close, try zooming out to a low level of the image, and notice a
consistency in lighting and softness to the skin tones for the majority of faces in the room -- except for Obama, and two players standing behind Bill Daley. Let me offer a few additional and possibly problematic observations on these two individuals standing in the back. Their names are Anthony Blinken, national security advisor to Vice President Biden, and Audrey Tomason of the National Counterterrorism Center. The Daily Beast speculates on the reasons for Tomason's presence in the photo as diversity balance so Hillary Clinton would not be the only woman in the room.
A similar observation could be made for the directional glance of the eyes for Blinken and Tomason, who appear to be glancing on a different vector path than the surrounding faces. The lighting for these two individuals appears off when taking into account how the light falls on many of the other characters in this iconic photo.
Judging by the light at the top of Bill Daley's head (who is standing in front of Blinken), it is possible that a light from overhead is glaring directly on top of Blinken. Having said that, Blinken and Tomason seem to have a different set of rules regarding how the light falls on their faces compared to their co-workers.
In addition, when zooming in close to examine the shirt area of Blinken, there appears to be some indistinct areas for a shirt so
well-lit and strongly contrasted at the upper area of the torso. It is hard to determine if this could be due to image-editing or normal shadowing and light falloff.
However, a few more questions to ponder in regard to Tomason: if Tomason is standing behind Blinken, why do her hands rest in front of Blinken's shirt? And is there a watch on both wrists?
A close-up from the overexposed photo is also provided in which it is clearly visible that Tomason's hands are in front of Blinken's shirt and even appear to come out in front of Daley's jacket. While the lack of detail could be natural due to Tomason's position in the photo, both arms seem to mutate into odd or unrecognizable hand shapes.
What do you think? Photoshopped, or is my imagination simply on overload from too many composite stories emanating from the White House?

As bloody drug wars rain down unprecedented levels of violence, Mexico's major cities are becoming more murderous than ever. But the urban violence epidemic is by no means just a Mexican phenomenon. Murders are rampant in cities throughout the Americas – from Baltimore to Barranquilla to Belo Horizonte – where homicide rates are well above the world average.
Of the world's 50 most violent cities, 45 are in the Americas, according to research done by a Mexican organization called Consejo Ciudadano para la Seguridad Pública y Justicia Penal (CCSPJP). A dozen of those cities are in Mexico, including Ciudad Juárez, the world's second deadliest city. Ciudad Juarez has an annual homicide rate of nearly 148 per 100,000 residents. By way of comparison, the murder rate in El Paso, Texas, located just across the border on the U.S. side, was 0.8 per 100,000 in 2010.
That's not so say the United States doesn't have its own share of urban violence. Four U.S. cities made CCSPJP's top 50 list: New Orleans (21st), Detroit (30th), Saint Louis (43rd) and Baltimore (48th).
South America has its fare share of deadly cities as well. Fourteen Brazilian cities made the list, including Maceió and Belém, ranked 3rd and 10th respectively. The Venezuelan capital of Caracas ranked 6th on the list, with an annual homicide rate of nearly 99 per 100,000. Colombia's Cali came in 11th.
The world's single most dangerous city is in neither North nor South America, but rather on the isthmus in between, according to the CCSPJP. That dubious distinction goes to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, which has a ghastly homicide rate of 158.87 per 100,000. Other Central America cities featured high on the ranking include Guatemala City (12th) in Gautemala and San Salvador (20th) in El Salvador.
The only country outside of the Americas to pop up multiple times on the CCSPJP was South Africa. Cape Town, with a murder rate of 46 per 100,000, ranked 30th. Three other South African cities, including Johannesburg (50th), also made the list, as did Mosul, Iraq (44th).

For three years Barack Hussein Obama and his handlers have labored to create a functioning dictatorship in the midst of a constitutional republic. It was shamefully easy at first. With unassailable majorities in House and Senate, even a Republican leadership unafraid to contest the excesses of the first black president would have been powerless to slow the implementation of his agenda.
The left passed ObamaCare, giving itself the means of executing a calculated program of attrition against millions of reliably Republican seniors. At the same time, a corrupt Department of Justice worked to undermine the 2nd Amendment, interfered with the effort of states to legislate against voter fraud and facilitated the entry of millions of illegals by refusing to enforce immigration law.
Even a disastrous midterm election has not slowed Obama's acquisition of power as 190 House Republicans helped vote into law the infamous National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), providing the Commander and Chief unlimited authority to detain and imprison without due process any American he considers a threat to national security.
But one vitally important power has eluded the usurper in the White House, that being the legal means to control the world-wide web. Countless attempts have been made to provide Obama that longed for internet "kill switch," many of them originating with Senator Joe Lieberman. Yet from Net Neutrality to the 2010 "Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act," all have met with such an outcry from left and right alike that they have died in Congress.
All, that is, until now. A week ago the House of Representatives passed the latest Congressional attempt to nullify the last remaining exercise of American freedom, the "cyber-security" bill called CISPA—the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act.
According to lawmakers, the purpose of CISPA is to make it easier for companies and the federal government to share information about methods of thwarting hackers. Until now, such information sharing about individual web users could have provided the grounds for a law suit. CISPA, however, "… would allow companies to freely share "cyber-threat information" without consequence." (1)
Critics of the bill point to the fact that, in the form passed by the House, "…any web-related service provider may share 'cyber threat information with any other entity,' including the military and National Security Agency NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF LAW…" In short, once enacted the terms of CISPA would take precedence over any existing state or federal law. Privacy laws would be a thing of the past. (1)
Though Janet Napolitano's Department of Homeland Security has "monitored" the mood of the public for some time, the enactment of CISPA would transform the now shadowy Department methods of spying on the enemies of Barack into a full-time, executive branch operation. (2) As civil liberties groups have claimed, the bill is so broadly written that it "would allow companies to share private consumer information with the government under the guise of sharing information about potential hacker threats." (3)
For a would-be despot of Barack Obama's ilk, the possibilities for abuse inherent in such a law are staggering. He would have the authority to flagrantly spy on any group or individual under the pretense of concern for national security. And as he may, under the powers afforded him by the NDAA, declare such groups or individuals a threat to the United States, the chilling effect upon any declared opposition to his nefarious schemes would be enormous. What better way to kill the internet than to clear it of all dissent!
Some claim that CISPA will have a difficult time in the US Senate. We must hope that will be the case.
