Through all the talk about Anthony Weiner we have mostly listened to jokes about his private parts and his name. His wife was often mentioned as a victim to his online tomfoolery. Today I want to talk about his wife, Huma Abedin Weiner.

In 1996, while Bill Clinton was president, he and Hillary met Huma while on a trip to Saudi Arabia. It's unclear what transpired, but she ended up in Washington DC with close ties to the Clintons. We now know she is Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's deputy Chief of Staff. This is a very sensitive position so we would think Huma was well vetted.

Huma Abedin Weiner is a devout Muslim. Her brother, Hassan, works at the Oxford Center for Islamic Studies (OCIS) at Oxford University. He has close ties with the Muslim Brotherhood. The Egyptian Al-Azhar University, is well known for a curriculum that encourages extremism and terrorism, and is active in establishing links with OCIS.

Huma's mother is co-founder of the Dar El-Hekma women's college in Saudi Arabia, which has close ties to the Muslim Sisterhood, the female version of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Sisterhood is also known as International Women's Organization (IWO).

We watched in Egypt as the left sided with the Muslim Brotherhood to take over the country. We are watching the same thing in Libya, only this time we have sent American forces to help the very same people we are fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The left, no matter whether it's from America or Europe, defends the Muslims at all cost, while making Israel out to always be the bad guy. We are fighting Islamic extremist, and their biggest allies are sitting inside our own government, the Democratic Party. With Huma Abedin Weiner having access to so much classified material, the radicals could(edit) know our every move.

I have written in the past asking why we have not experienced any major terrorist attacks. I now know the answer. They have no need to destroy or attack what they are taking over from within. The Islamic radicals learned from history when Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev, the former head of the Soviet Union, said that the communist would take over the USA from within, not with weapons. The left is using our schools and televisions to slowly, methodically give over our country to the radical Islamists, who are also the radical left.

You can't turn on the television without hearing how bad Christianity is, while they defend Islam. Sheila Jackson Lee (D, Texas) is not alone when she stood before the podium and said that Christian abortion clinic bombers were comparable to the 9/11 terrorist, or the countless other Islamic terrorists.

America, we are at war, and the enemy is not across an ocean, it lies within our own borders.

I'd like to add; I am making no claims to Huma's loyalty to our country. She might be doing the job as well as any natural born American. I am sure the Clintons trust Huma. Do we trust the Clintons?

I am more concerned that the media is not talking about the things mentioned above. Even the right wing talkers are not mentioning her background. We need a media that will vet the people who have close ties with government officials. The American people should know when people holding sensitive positions have family ties to questionable organizations. The Tea Party's greatest weapon is knowledge

Have you ever seen a bigger abuse of the law by an agency charged with "enforcing" it? The more I read about the BATFE's outrageous actions during this Project Gunwalker fiasco, the more furious I get... Did you know that when ATF field agents complained about how dangerous the idea of allowing guns to walk into Mexico was, one supervisor wrote in an email "if you don't think this is fun, you are in the wrong line of work, period!" "Fun." Apparently strong-arming law-abiding firearms dealers in America to allow criminals to straw-purchase weapons that would be used later to murder federal agents is "fun" to the ATF chain of command. When yet another agent warned that this tactic could lead to loss of life, his the ATF boss told him "if you are going to make an omelette, you need to scramble some eggs." This is what citizens -- and even lower-level federal agents -- are thought to be in the eyes of ATF big wigs: "eggs." And if there were any doubt about what they were doing, ATF agent John Dodson, testifying before Congress last week, had this to say: "Allowing loads of weapons that we knew to be destined for criminals, this was the plan. It was so mandated." Well, in my eyes, the plan is a sick and twisted example of an Agency Gone Wild. Could that be a decision that basically, we just want to substantiate that guns in America go to Mexico…?" You see what's going on here. Let's retrace the steps: The Obama administration and Hillary Clinton State Department assert that most of the guns used in Mexican crimes come from America, and that in the name of regional stability "more restriction on law-abiding American Firearms owners are needed and the United States must sign on to the United Nations Small Arms Treaty. The BATFE begins investigating this "claim", and creates a "sting operation" to ensure American guns end up in Mexico. Then they force gun dealers to sell firearms to known criminals who smuggle the guns to violent Mexican drug cartels. Agents on the ground in this investigation said that it was a horrible idea, but the operations were authorized and supported by leading officials in the BATFE and the Justice Department. The mantra of the anti-gun Left is simple: "never let a crisis go to waste." And if there isn't a convenient crisis, go ahead and make one up. This is exactly the strategy Obama and his anti-gun allies have been practicing for years. They will use this "crisis" to ram federal gun control legislation down the throats of American citizens. Wagner Rep-70 (916) 319-2070 Assemblymember.Wagner@assembly.ca.gov Das Williams Dem-35 (916) 319-2035 Assemblymember.Williams@assembly.ca.gov What SB 48 does     SB 48 requires that social sciences "include a study of the role and contributions of … lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans … in the development of California and the United States."     It also replaces the word "sex" with "gender". This is significant considering that word "gender" in the Education code is being redefined in AB 887, a bill  sponsored by Equality California and authored by gay rights advocate Assemblywoman Toni Atkins of San Diego. In that bill "gender" is defined as "sex, and includes a person's gender identity and gender expression. 'Gender expression' means a person's gender-related appearance and behavior whether or not stereotypically associated with the person's assigned sex at birth."     The bill is sponsored by Equality California, the lead opponent of Prop 8 and is authored by Senator Mark Leno of San Francisco. The author presents SB 48 as an anti-bullying bill, but it is obvious that the bill has nothing to do with bullying. Studies show most bullying in schools is either racial or girl vs. girl. Bullying is a very serious problem. There is already a lot of money being spent on anti-bullying programs. The legislature needs to commission a study to figure out what is being done — what is working and what is not.  SB 48 does not address these concerns. Specifically, SB 48: 1.   Prohibits instruction or school sponsored activities that reflect adversely upon persons because of  newly defined gender or sexual orientation; 2.   Prohibits the State Board of Education and the governing board of any school district from adopting textbooks or other instructional materials that contain any matter that reflects adversely upon persons because of newly defined gender or sexual orientation; 3.   Requires that when adopting instructional materials for use in the schools, governing boards shall include materials that accurately portray the role and contribution of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans; 4.   Requires alternative and charter schools take notice of the provisions of this bill in light of provisions of existing law that prohibit discrimination in any aspect of their operation. What ultimate impact this will have on charter or home schools is beyond our ability to analyze.     If that is not alarming enough, the real impact of the bill can only be understood in the context of a document that is used to develop text books and provide guidance for curriculum, materials, and instruction in every classroom in California. The document, Standards for Evaluating Instructional Materials for Social Content, makes it clear that the purpose of social studies is not just to teach contributions of different people throughout history, but to "create a sense of pride" for members of specific groups or classifications of people specifically mentioned in the law. The Standards which will have to be revised to conform to SB 48 currently includes the following provisions: "The standards promote the individual development and self-esteem of each student regardless of gender"; "The responsibility of parenting should be emphasized"; People "should be portrayed in nurturing roles with their families"; Portrayals "should be balanced by … characters engaged in other less traditionally recognized activities"; "Depictions of diverse …groups … must include such groups in the mainstream of U.S. life"; "Portrayals must not depict differences in … lifestyles as undesirable."     Does the last point really mean that depictions of lifestyles must be portrayed as desirable?
